Head of Public Relations: Welcoming Ramadan, a Holy Month Full of Wisdom
Jakarta. Head of Public Relations of the Indonesian National Police, Inspector General of Police Sandi Nugroho, wishes all Muslims in Indonesia a Happy Fasting. This holy month of Ramadan is a momentum for Muslims to worship solemnly.
“May this Holy Month bring peace, blessings, and happiness
for us in gaining rewards from Allah SWT,” said the Head of Public Relations, Friday (28/2/25).
The Head of Public Relations said that the holy month of Ramadan should be a momentum to strengthen faith and piety.
“Let us welcome Ramadhan 1446 H, with full Joy and a sense of Brotherhood, Unity and Unity among fellow children of the Nation. Ramadhan full of Blessings for Indonesia Emas 2045,” explained the Head of Public Relations Division.
It is known that the Ministry of Religion (Kemenag) has set the first day of Ramadan 1446 H/2025 to start on Saturday, March 1, 2025. This was decided in a meeting attended by a number of parties.
This decision is based on the crescent moon in several areas that are the monitoring locations. The Ministry of Religion uses two methods, namely hisab (calculation) and rukyat (seeing the crescent moon directly).
“It was confirmed in the session that 1 Ramadan will be set for tomorrow, God willing, on March 1, 2025, which coincides with 1 Ramadan 1446 Hijri,” said Minister of Religion Nasarudin Umar, Friday (28/2/25).
